We'll see what materialises. I would prefer the lower tier a few rows up. Don't think we can get the sides of the pitch, only behind the goal.
That Travelodge is selling very quickly, so just to let you be aware of the situation.

Thats a quality bit of design work by those geezers at Old Trafford. Cheers for the link Modes. Very helpful indeed. Working on the tickets at the moment, so I should have it finalised very shortly. They will be released on Thursday to season-ticket holders and take it from there.

E-MAIL FROM ENGLISH FA REGARDING DELAY IN VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi all, I trust this is helpful for everyone and explains the long delay in announcing the venue for our Semi-Final. Initially they were trying to spurn off some horse-hockey, but never answered my email.
FIRST RESPONSE.
26/03/07
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your email and sorry for the delay in replying, this is due to a large number of emails received by the Customer Relations team last week. As you know, the semi final venues have now been decided.
Kind regards, Customer Relations Assistant
MY REPLY.
26/03/07
Hi Tracey,
Many thanks for your e-mail and I understand the delay in replying. It is a huge relief to have the venues sorted, but I still can't understand why it took eight days after the draw was made to select the venue regarding Blackburn Rovers. I am still waiting for an answer to explain this delay.
I have to give an answer to members from our branch to explain this unreasonable delay and because of this a few of our members can't make it. This is largely due to respective company policies with regards to 'notification period' to taking holidays. I would be grateful if you could give a brief answer regarding this, as Blackburn Rovers and another London team were already confirmed for one of the semi-final fixtures.
I don't mean to sound pitiful about this, but when individuals pay for their membership to join a supporters club and can't make it to a game when it takes an unreasonable length of time to decide a venue, then they will want and certainly deserve an answer. Some are rather upset about this and I would appreciate a proper explanation. If you have any further queries, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards, Simon Gray
SECOND RESPONSE.
26/03/07
Dear Simon Thanks for your e-mail. We do appreciate the distances many supporters travel to support their teams and the costs involved and do endeavour to announce details as soon as possible.
When scheduling games such as The FA Cup Semi-Finals there are a number of criteria that require consideration. These include the geography of competing teams, the capacity of available venues for fans and the kick-off time for broadcasters.
The situation this time round was further complicated by Tottenham Hotspurs' involvement in the latter stages of the UEFA Cup. With Spurs scheduled to play on the Thursday evening prior to the Semi-Final weekend they would subsequently have been unable to play on the Saturday (had they beaten Chelsea in the Sixth Round).
Segregation measures (and therefore the ticket allocations to each team) have to be agreed by The FA, in conjunction with the host club, the local police force and the local authority safety advisory group (responsible for issuing the stadium safety certificate) and due to its capacity, the decision to hold the Blackburn Rovers v Chelsea Semi-Final at Old Trafford will obviously allow more fans from both clubs to attend.
As I'm sure you can appreciate, the selection of FA Cup Semi-Final venues is not an immediate process and a lot of consideration must go into the final choices. However, The FA is confident that Old Trafford and Villa Park will prove fitting venues for two of the biggest matches of the domestic season.
The Customer Relations team exists in order to collate views from the general public, build a picture of public opinion and feed this back internally within The FA. While I appreciate this may not have alleviated your concerns, I would nevertheless like to thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us. Kind regards, Customer Relations Officer.

Why are the other 3 guys not sitting with us? Just being inquisitive! Due to the Data Protection Act (1998) i can't give out that information, so I'll leave it to you to PM him and he might inform you then. Are our seats going to be good? No they're not. The game is in Old Trafford, what else do you expect!! lol ;D

Just a wee update here again. We've now been allocated the tickets in the following: - BLOCK:- E236, ROWS:- 19 & 20. From Christian's wee stadium map, the tickets seem to be set with a great view and from a previously attached image, i believe that we are somewhere in the 'speech mark' in the vodafone logo. We'll also have to get a few suggestions as to what to use for fancy-dress and think that these wigs would be decent enough. They would be available at a cost of £3.50-4.00.

Not long now lads. Chelsea hopefully knackered after last night. Its now time for us to forget our last few results and march out at Old Trafford with heads held high and get stuck into those Chelsea scumbags. I have a weird feeling going into the match because cup matches are so unpredictable. Who knows, we could be going to a Blackburn/Watford final in Wembley. Wouldnt it be great like. Sicken the bigger teams and mouth pieces who slag us off. Come on the Rovers!!!
